Chocolate flour fudge

Fudge is a great treat all times and seasons of the year, careful not to eat too much, it is quite rich! Hint, this fudge is an amazing addition to vanilla icecrean.

The recipe

Ingredients:

2 cups - white sugar

1/2 cup - butter

1/2 cup - milk

1/3 cup - cocoa

1 cup - white flour

1 tsp - vanilla extract

Instructions:

To begin, add the sugar, butter, milk and cocoa into a medium sized saucepan. On medium heat, stir continuously melting the ingredients together. Boil for 7 mins or until softball stage. Remove from heat, mix in vanilla extract, add white flour, mix vigorously until all flour is evenly dispersed throughout the fudge before it hardens. Pour into 9x9 or similar sized pan. Ensure pan is properly greased with oil or butter to avoid fudge sticking to the pan.

Tips:

- Do not boil for too long or at too high of a heat! This fudge will turn as hard as a rock if over boiled.

- Best to grease the pan, measure out the vanilla extract and the cup of white flour before boiling the fudge, this way you are not scrambling to find things as the fudge sits on the counter cooling, or getting over boiled on the stove.

- After the fudge has boiled for seven mins on medium heat, completely remove from the burner and mix in the vanilla extract before the flour to ensure the vanilla is thoroughly dispersed.
